DEE ROMMEL

​Dee has been interested in art for as long as she can remember.  She was encouraged by her mother who worked in clay.  She loved to draw and create in clay, and was mostly interested in music and art throughout  school.  

Her current mediums are mainly acrylic, oil, watercolor and mixed media.  Substrates are canvas, watercolor paper and cradle boards.  Mixed media, such as oil and cold wax is another medium she works in as she enjoys exploring how different textures and paints work together to  create inviting effects producing an interesting whole.

She has studied  with many artists through the years and has stayed actively involved in in the art community.  She belongs to several art groups some of which hold annual art shows.  She is currently curating an art gallery art Rise Church in Tigard.

Dee hopes her work transcribes to all how blessed she feels existing on this spectacular planet and what a miracle life is.
